Raised in Vancouver, B.C., Laura is an accomplished Event planner/producer who has built a name for herself and her company, Gautreaux Events. Laura has over 11 years experience, and has worked in all aspects of the industry.
After completing University for Culinary Arts, Laura’s passion for events, people and education led her to serve in the private and non-profit sector. Prior to devoting herself to her business full-time, she worked, planned, and consulted on events for over 10 major companies.
Laura’s gifts of organization, attention to detail, creative imagination, concept design and contagious enthusiasm have earned her a reputation for unparalleled excellence as an event planner and designer. She will execute your concepts flawlessly while maintaining a pleasant, calm and helpful demeanor to ensure an amazing experience for you and your guests.
Laura is an active member of the event industry and believes in giving back to the community and industry through volunteering, sponsorship and creating standards of excellence and raising the bar of professionalism.
She has started experimenting all aspects of decors in the industry. She is a certified balloon artist for children's parties but also, over the top decor for her previous company "Affordable Decorations". In 2016 she has rebranded to Gautreaux Events and is a certified Wedding Planner and Event Coordinator. She has worked with many brides and assisted many wedding planners in the past. It is her dream to plan weddings and this is her passion.
In her spare time, Laura is a mother to three amazing children and spends time as a family with her new husband. They enjoy their time together as a family with their dog Ellie.
